STAGE LINK
4-way switcher for single-cabinet multi-amp system

ONLY for use with London Power instrument amplifiers

STAGE LINK is a custom amp accessory designed to work with London Power's new line of guitar amps. STAGE LINK does not handle audio signals. It ties into the Mute jacks on the rear of the new amps, to allow one-of-four amps to be active at a time.

In a multi-amp rig, system connections are made as follows:
1) The guitar is plugged into the Instrument Input jack on the first amp.
2) The Link jack of the first amp is patched to the Instrument Input of the second amp using a standard guitar cord.
3) The Link jack of the second amp is patched to the Instrument Input of the third amp, and so on.
4) The speaker cabinet is plugged into the Speaker jack on the first amp.
5) The SPKR-Link of the first amp is patched to the Speaker jack of the second amp using speaker cable.
6) The SPKR-link of the second amp is patched to the Speaker jack of the third amp, and so on.
7) Stage Link junction box is patched into the Mute jacks of the respective amplifiers using guitar cords for all but one. The stereo cord supplied with Stage Link patches into one of the Mute jacks - it does not matter which one. This jack provides power to Stage Link. The junction box patches to the Stage Link foot-switch via the multi-conductor DIN cable. Additional foot-switch boxes can be patched together using the second DIN jack on the foot-switch. All will indicate which amp is selected.

At initial turn-on, all amps are muted. Select an amp by momentarily pressing its associated switch. The Stage Link will indicate the amp number selected, and the Active LED on the amp selected will also light. New selections via the Stage Link will automatically cancel the previous selection.

Connection to the SUSTAINOR amp requires two connections, as SUSTAINOR is two amps in one chassis. The player can elect to control just one half of SUSTAINOR via the STAGE LINK, with the other half active all the time.

When Super Scaler is used, as is common on stage, the Super Scaler is tied in between the first amp's Speaker output and the cabinet itself. In this way, all amps can use the Super Scaler.
