Like
the northern lights, AURORA can be dark or
bright, and provide many colours of illumination.
Simple
controls allow easy access to clean and distorted
tones. DRIVE,
HIGH, LOW, PREAMP-LEVEL, SEND, RETURN, LOUD, BODY
and POWER
SCALE provide continuously variable tone
and loudness shaping. The twelve voicing switches
allow the gain structure and raw voicing to be changed
on the fly. DRIVE
sets preamp distortion saturation while PREAMP-LEVEL
sets the loudness prior to the effects loop.
The
series/parallel loop can be remotely controlled via
foot-switch. Individual SEND
and RETURN
controls accommodate all effects devices.
The
power amp can be operated pristine clean or compressed
or outright distorted - All without being any louder
than you wish to be. BODY
allows either push-pull or traditional single-ended
tones to be accessed over a continuous range, in both
SE and PP modes.
