The controls are simple. The sounds are simple. Playing
is simple.
FULL,
BRIGHT, HIGH, LOW, SEND, RETURN, LOUD, BODY
and Power
Scale controls allow you to access non-master-volume
and master-volume British tones at the turn of a dial.
FULL dials in full-bodied gain while
BRIGHT dials up crisper sounds. The
two-way EQ allows more tone shaping than one would
think - as these are not the usual guitar-amp EQs.
The
effects loop is transparent, so you won't know it's
there except that your effects come through clear
and proportioned. Separate SEND
and RETURN
controls accommodate pedals and line-level devices
alike, and the loop is controllable via foot-switch.
The
power amp can be operated as a non-master amp with
LOUD all the way up, or as a master-volume
amp with LOUD
set to taste. POWER
SCALE dials output power down as required,
for crunched or compressed power tube tones. The power
stage can be operated pristinely clean when desired,
or dial in warmth using the BODY
control in both SE and PP modes.
