The
3-D accepts stereo input signals or mono, and
can output in either stereo or mono. The dry audio
path is pristine clean, so even the most critical
applications can have warm tube reverb added.
London
Power's push-pull reverb driver provides cleaner
drive than the usual single-ended tube drive stage.
This means your distortion sounds or complex music
signals will not be muddied by the reverb signal.
Cleaner than tube. Warmer than digital. The best of
both worlds!
3-D's
topology allows for proper stereo positioning of the
reverb signal with respect to left and right input
signals. It can also output just the ambient signal
from either or both outputs. This is a great feature
when patched into a loop on a mixing console, or in
a home theatre where the rear speakers are used for
ambience only. The ambient signal can be shaped in
both the drive and recovery paths: BODY
accesses traditional SE-drive reverb sounds; DEPTH
controls how hard the delay line is driven; SHAPE,
SPARKLE
and the TIMBRE
presets give a wide range of tone control. Eight low-noise,
low-microphonic12AU7s combine with broadcast-quality
transformers and thoughtful design to provide stellar
performance for both home, stage and professional
applications.
All
inputs and outputs are transformer-isolated and have
individual ground lifts. 3-D can operate at
instrument or line levels.
3-D
has the same foot-print as the instrument amplifiers,
so it can be stacked or rack mounted. 3-D is
2U (3.5" or 88mm high).
