Presnal Audio) in the design of an exciting
new line of sound engineering tools. These take advantage
of Phil Presnal's extensive knowledge and experience
in live, studio and video sound work, and Kevin O'Connor's
expertise with audio circuitry of all kinds. When
Phil and Kevin put their heads together, great ideas
are born!

The Coolohm line
uses standard tube types for 'go anywhere' peace-of-mind,
in a unique blend of modern and traditional circuits
for reliable and consistent performance. Transformer-coupled
INs and OUTs are
a common feature on most of the line - a feature that
is often useful but increasingly hard to find.

capacitors, Wima and Philips plastic caps, custom
transformers from Hammond and Toroid Tech, custom
all-steel chassis from Hammond, Philips metal film
resistors, flameproof resistors where required, circuit
card (eyelet board) construction, Belden Teflon insulated
wire and Beldfoil shielded cables, high-quality 1/4"
jacks, XLRs and RCA connectors, PEC mil-spec sealed
single-section pots, Alps dual-section pots, C&K switches
for signal path locations and Mayama switches on the
mains. Every unit has worldwide voltage compatibility
at the flick of a switch.
