Sustain is the sonic effect of power supply sag. This attribute can be easily added to any amplifier, whether it is single-ended or push-pull, with high-bias or dynamic bias. A SUSTAIN pot is included, providing continuously variable control over note attack. The control itself is non-critical, so it is easy to have multiple controls for multi-voiced amps.

DC-SUS can be used in any guitar or bass amp on the market regardless of power level. It can also be used on preamp stages, providing variable compression within the small-signal domain.

A small PCB supports all components except the pot and requires about two square inches of chassis space.
