London Power's amplifiers use full-bandwidth output transformers to provide a consistent tone from full power down to very quiet outputs. Impedance taps provide optimal matching to nominal loads, but any tap can be used to achieve the sound the player seeks without worry of damage to the transformer or the circuits.
In the dual-path SUSTAINOR and STUDIO POWER AMP, there are two output transformers and two sets of speaker jacks. Each channel has direct-output jacks. Plus, each channel can be alternately connected to a relay-switched speaker jack.
The speaker-matching in the STUDIO-10 family is also achieved using relays. AURORA has direct-impedance jacks.
