PRODUCTION
UPDATE
The first assembled Aurora amps are undergoing extensive tests and burn-in to make sure there are no systematic issues. A couple of minor changes have been made to two of the PCBs, which has made a small delay for final release. Aurora amps are still expected to begin shipping by the end of June.
The amps take a bit more time to assemble than first thought, so the production rate will be lower than I had hoped for, although it will become more efficient with time.
For the moment, I think it is prudent to place a cap on how many amps are on the back-list. The current list represents an eight-month lead-time now that amps are being assembled, so until we have caught up, we will accept no new amp orders. Studio amps should begin shipping around August. Sustainor amps should ship in September.
I want to thank everyone who has kept the faith and been patient through the changes, updates and delays. I believe the final products are turning out much better than originally planned. These amps incorporate all of the most up-to-date refinements one could hope for, and reflect the best way I know of to build guitar amps.
Have fun
